Danubius Hotels
Danubius Hotel and Spa Co. is established in 1972 by the Ministry
of Domestic Trade, which has reassigned Grand Hotel Margitsziget (Budapest),
Hotel Helikon (Keszthely), and transferred the construction license
to Danubius to build Budapest Hilton. The Company has now one 5-star
hotel and several, mainly 3- or 4-star hotels: 12 in Budapest (total
3273 rooms), 13 hotels and one hotels chain (total 3322 rooms) in the
countryside, as well as 9 hotels in the Czech Republic and 21 hotels

Hungarian Patent Office
The Hungarian Patent Office was launched in 1896. It is an administrative authority
with country-wide powers in the field of intellectual property. The tasks and
competence of the Office are the preparation of intellectual property legislation,
official examinations and procedures in the field of industrial property, central

Paks Nuclear Power Plant Company
The Paks Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Company was founded in 1976 and has been operating
as a share company since 1992. Its site is located in the middle of Hungary,
5 km from the town of Paks. More than 40 percent of the electrical energy generated
in Hungary is produced here. Considering the load factors, the Paks units belong
to the leading ones in the world and have been among the top twenty-five units
for years. The Paks nuclear power plant was the first among NPPs of the former
eastern block to fulfill the most up-to-date requirements. The reliability
of the most important safety systems in Paks conforms to Western European norms
(WENRA).

EGIS
Generations have sought relief from illness and restored their health with the
products of EGIS Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and its legal predecessor. The pharmaceuticals
factory has been in operation since 1913 in Keresztúri Street, Budapest, where
the foundations of research and production were laid by Dr. Wander. With tradition
and modernity in mind the old building is as much a symbol of EGIS as are the
state-of-the-art and human scale research based in Bökényföldi Street, Budapest
and the adjacent production facilities. Following in the foot steps of its

Gedeon Richter Ltd.
Gedeon Richter Ltd. established in 1901 carries out research, development, manufacture
and marketing of human finished drugs, active substances and intermediates.
Production takes place in Hungary (Budapest, Dorog) and in Russia, Romania,
the Ukraine and India as well. The Company manufactures about one hundred kinds
of pharmaceuticals in more than 170 presentations. Among its products are original,
generic and licensed preparations. The products cover numerous therapeutic
areas, with special emphasis on the production and development of drugs for
the central nervous system, as well as antiulcer agents, cardiovascular and
gastrointestinal preparations and oral contraceptives. Research into drugs
of the central nervous system and development of generic products are of primary
importance. In the past 50 years Gedeon Richter Ltd. has introduced ten original
preparations to the market.

IMFA was established in 1990 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and
by the Bank for Industrial Development "Corvinbank". IMFA's
mission is to support innovation processes, industry restructuring
and technological development. Activities of IMFA for public benefit
are: support of research and scientific activities in favor of technological
development of the industry, support of education and dissemination
of scientific and development results in favor of the industry, support
of the industrial environmental management and of the development of
the environmental industry, dissemination of the culture of quality
in the economy, especially in the industry, dissemination of the culture
of logistics in the economy, especially in the industry.
